El Rey del Chori is a cooking simulator inspired by the fast-food stands found in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. The aim was to portray the diverse types of people who inhabit the city through a simple narrative. We believe the best way to get to know a city is through its cuisine, people, and customs. The game originated at the 2026 edition of Game Jam BA, where the theme was "Buenos Aires in 15 minutes"; this is reflected in the fast-food concept, as—wherever you are in Buenos Aires—there is always a choripán stand within 15 minutes.
