Float Your Goat is a physics-driven puzzle game about building increasingly elaborate rafts to ferry a water-hating goat and his “friends” safely across the sea. Mixing relaxed problem-solving with realistic buoyancy and a streak of slapstick chaos, Float Your Goat invites players to tinker, iterate, and watch their creations either triumph or fall apart in spectacular fashion. In each hand-crafted level, players construct rafts from materials with distinct properties, then test their designs. Every puzzle can be solved in countless ways, from sturdy engineering to barely-held-together nonsense that somehow reaches the goal. When things go wrong, they really go wrong: the goat and his companions can be crushed, drowned, flung, or gently encouraged into the ocean by a single stray raindrop.
