Regression is a first person, psychological horror, story-driven game the tells the story of a house that has been inhabited by an evil entity for a long time, slowly possessing the couple that lived there and making their daughter think she was crazy. The player plays as the ex-boyfriend of such girl, that arrives at the house because she messaged him, asking him to come. Things aren't be what they seem and the player will slowly learn more about the family, the house and the entity as they play.

The gameplay consists on speaking with characters, exploring the environment and the objects in it, as well as solve puzzles and run and hide from enemies.
