Everyone is a 'Good person' here and they’ll smash your head in to prove it.
You prayed for your dead cat.
It came back wrong.
Naturally, this made everyone else extremely normal about it.
Now you’re trapped in worlds full of people who have principles, moral certainty, and several blunt objects. Every faction knows exactly how society should work. Every boss can explain why hurting you is necessary. Some will even let you talk first. Very progressive.
Fortunately, your eldritch cats teach magic.
Steal their spells, combine them into disgusting builds, and collect relics that break the rules instead of giving you another boring +5% damage bonus. Teleport enemies out of reality. Stack status effects until the screen becomes a workplace safety violation. Turn bad decisions into synergies.
Then visit new biomes, meet new ideologies, choose who annoys you least, and live with whatever horrible relic crawls out of the consequences.
This is not a story about good versus evil.
Everyone already thinks they’re the good guys.
That’s the problem.
